EL POSTILLÓN

A Journal of Critical Resistance and Solidarity for Puerto Rico’s Liberation
EL POSTILLÓN draws its name and spirit from the revolutionary newspaper founded by Francisco "Pachín" Marín, one of Puerto Rico’s earliest independence writers and insurgent journalists. In his tradition, this journal revives the radical press as a tool for anti-colonial truth-telling and international solidarity.
Published by The Ruth Reynolds Front for Puerto Rico's Independence, EL POSTILLÓN confronts the colonial present through investigative writing, historical recovery, and political analysis. It is written for non-Puerto Rican allies committed to justice, for Puerto Rican thinkers and readers, and for anyone working to dismantle imperialism through memory and action.
We Publish:
- Archival documents and independence-era texts
- Critical reviews of colonial policies and resistance movements
- Essays that connect historical liberation struggles to today’s global fights for sovereignty
- Commentary that supports organizing, advocacy, and collective education
- Writing that centers Puerto Rico’s right to freedom, not debate
This is not a neutral publication.
It is a platform for liberation, solidarity, and historical accountability.
