We welcome submissions of writing, translation, and visual work rooted in historical memory and anti-colonial resistance.

El Postillón, the journal of The Front, publishes work that engages with documents, suppressed materials, and overlooked archives — histories that have been purposefully suppressed across institutions, media, and public discourse. We are especially interested in pieces that draw from or respond to historical materials — whether through close analysis, translation, or visual interpretation.

History is not neutral. Help us recover and reframe it.
